The flagship project of DIC Group - the C4 Hotel and Tourist Apartment Block within the Cap Saint Jacques complex, designed by LMP Design, has recently been honored with two prestigious gold awards at the Vietnam VMARK 2022 Design Awards.

Establishing a Distinctive Landmark in Vung Tau City

Formerly known as the old DIC Star Hotel and operated by DIC Group for nearly two decades, the decision was made to boldly embark on a new venture: the construction of the C4 Tourist Apartment-Hotel project. This decision aimed to blend seamlessly with the grandeur of the Cap Saint Jacques Complex and the overarching architectural theme of Thuy Van - Back Beach Road. Additionally, it sought to address the burgeoning demand for upscale resort apartments and hotels in Vung Tau City.

Situated at 169 Thuy Van, Vung Tau, the Cap Saint Jacques Complex comprises buildings ranging from 27 to 31 floors high. It includes the operational C1 Tourist Apartment Block, the 5-star international standard C3 hotel block, and the forthcoming C4 tourist apartment-hotel block. Together, these facilities cater to the accommodation needs of the city's influx of coastal tourists.

The development of the C4 project underscores DIC's commitment to establishing a premier hotel and tourist apartment complex in Vung Tau, solidifying its status as a key player in the city's hospitality landscape. 

The groundbreaking ceremony for Phase 2 of the Cap Saint Jacques complex took place at the end of November 2021. During this event, the C4 hotel and tourist apartment block garnered two prestigious Gold awards for Architecture & Landscape Design and resort apartment interior design.

Mr. Hoang Van Tang, General Director of DIC Group, expressed his appreciation for the capacity, ideas, and creativity demonstrated by LMP Design in incorporating green, sustainable, and smart building design standards. With its prime location just steps away from the sea, the Cap Saint Jacques Complex seamlessly integrates indigenous cultural elements, regional landscapes, and sustainable features throughout its architectural and interior design. Mr. Tang believes that this project will not only embody DIC Group's unique identity but also become a prominent symbol within Vung Tau's burgeoning nightlife entertainment area.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and founder of LMP Design, shared that the project is centered around the theme of connecting people with nature. By combining three core values—sustainable architecture, indigenous architecture, and local culture and beauty—LMP Design aims to achieve order and balanced rhythm, resulting in sophistication and harmony.

LMP Design's architects have implemented a rounded design for the building's corners, with short-sided cubes facing Thuy Van street. This approach, in addition to aligning with the project's planning, serves to alleviate the pressure on the construction and optimize the sea views for all tourist apartments. Furthermore, some floor clusters are designed to gradually recede inward, drawing inspiration from traditional folding paper fans. This design element not only adds distinction to the apartment block but also enhances its overall harmony with the surrounding area.

A representative of DIC Group emphasized that the C4 hotel and tourist apartment block of the Cap Saint Jacques project features an adaptive and flexible design that prioritizes safety against epidemics. Notably, this is the first high-rise building in Vung Tau city to include a refuge floor, further enhancing its safety measures.

The landscape design, which focuses on incorporating green areas into the project, was executed by LMP Design.
The project space is specifically designed to alleviate stressors, prioritizing privacy and isolation to promote physical and mental well-being. A central "green core" has been strategically placed between the blocks, serving as a verdant oasis for the entire project—a serene retreat and communal gathering space.

Moreover, the luxury and super-luxury brand segment apartments, which are limited in number, boast a bold resort-style design. Aimed at offering a highly personalized resort lifestyle, each apartment is seamlessly integrated with various amenities. Smart utilities have been incorporated to ensure homeowners' privacy and safety. 

The apartment's design draws inspiration from images of mountains, grass, trees, and water bubbles, delicately blended together. Ms. Lan Phuong stated that LMP Design incorporates rustic, minimalist, yet luxurious elements, prioritizing the utilization of local materials. The design also maximizes natural light, wind, and sea air, along with the presence of trees and water surfaces, to conserve energy.

LMP Design has won another Gold Award in the Resort Apartment Interior Design category.

The primary color scheme of the apartment's interior combines the bronze hue of the Long Dien craft casting village, the gray tone of Vung Tau's rocky mountains, and accents of white and blue reminiscent of the sea. The apartment incorporates movable walls and smart furniture to maximize space utilization, offering a unique and upscale living experience.
